Entrepreneurship is a creative endeavor with the potential to have far-reaching impacts within communities. For students who may be interested in starting a business, growing a business, or working within small businesses or startups, this certificate will cover key concepts that are particularly relevant during the early stages of business planning and development. Students will study real-world examples and gain hands-on experience applying concepts to their own ideas while considering the potential impact of their decisions. Beginning with an overview of human-centered design, continuing with a deeper dive into strategy, and culminating with the formation of a polished pitch informed by in-depth analysis, students will emerge with confidence and experience applicable to a wide variety of professional contexts.
