The 2024-25 Evergreen State College Chess Club aims to revive the love of chess on campus and in surrounding Olympia schools by giving students an opportunity to compete and learn from a wide variety of skilled players. We aim to improve players’ understanding of chess strategy while also making it a fun and engaging game with a safe and supportive community. Players of all ages are encouraged to participate, regardless of skill level.
