Earth (Field) Day!

When
12:00pm - 1:20pm
Where
Red Square

Join us for Earth (Field) Day—a midday pause in the heart of Earth Week to recharge, reconnect, and root yourself in community.

From 12:00 to 1:30 PM, Red Square Field becomes a space for low-key celebration and collective rest. Bring a blanket or towel, some friends or coworkers, and soak into the sun (or clouds) with casual games! We'll have frisbee, cards, and some chill climate center-led group activities. Or simply find a patch of grass or bench, settle in, and enjoy the gift of stillness. Bring your headphones, book, or hacky sacks!

Inspired by Audre Lorde’s reminder that “caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare,” this event invites you to consider rest, joy, and connection as vital forms of climate action.

Call to Action:
Come as you are. Stay for 10 minutes or the full time!
