The Evergreen State College will be hosting an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class during summer break week. The cost will be $200, which must be paid by Tuesday, June 17. Class dates are Friday, June 20 from 1 PM to 6 PM, Saturday, June 21 from 8 AM to 6 PM (w/ 1-hour lunch break), and Sunday, June 22 from 8 AM to 6 PM (w/ 1-hour lunch break). The class is open to all, including community members. This is a blended course, which means all online material must be completed prior to starting the in-person course on Friday, June 20. You must attend all sessions to be able to take the final test to pass the certification. ARC certifications are good for 2 years from the final date of the class.
