The second of a three-quarter sequence in human anatomy and physiology, this course examines control and regulation of the body through exploration of the nervous system, special senses and the endocrine system, as well as the continuity of life related to the human reproductive system and development in utero. Laboratory includes a mix of virtual options and (optional) in-person work with histology, anatomical models and dissections of eye and brain (home-use kits or on campus). To successfully participate in this program, students will need a computer or laptop with internet access. For this hybrid course, students can expect one to two hours of synchronous (regularly scheduled) class time per week, and two to three hours of asynchronous (self-paced) work per week.
