Students examine control and regulation of the human body through exploration of the nervous system, special senses and the endocrine system, as well as the continuity of life related to the human reproductive system and development in utero. Lecture and laboratory work are asynchronous online in Canvas and include pre-recorded lectures, virtual histology and 3D anatomy models through the Visible Body platform. Synchronous support involves weekly Zoom meetings and two Saturday labs where students can practice reflex physiology and perform animal dissections of a brain, spinal cord and eye. To successfully participate in this program, students will need a computer or laptop with internet access
