Students will learn how to prepare fibers for spinning including skirting, picking, and washing raw fleeces. Students will learn how to align the fibers with different tools to produce different products. They will also learn about various spinning techniques and equipment, such as thigh spinning and the indigenous spindle whorl spinning.
