Build skills in designing graphical elements for the web. We'll apply foundational design practices to create images that communicate visually, using Adobe Suite apps. We'll explore vector image creation for SVG graphics, and we'll learn and apply best practices for bitmap images that work in responsive designs. We'll also explore animated graphics, and we'll make use of tools for image galleries and slideshow techniques. Students should have a solid understanding of HTML structure and CSS presentational techniques, before taking this course.
