International Administration

The war in Ukraine has accelerated the shift toward a less-US centric, multipolar global system.  How will the US, as well as global institutions such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, adapt to this new regime?  And what can we in the US learn from governance in other countries, in an era of increasing political polarization and democratic backsliding?  At the end of this course you’ll gain skills in comparative analysis and have a sharper understanding of both the global system and how US public administrators can learn from innovations developed elsewhere. 

This course meets in an intensive weekend format.
