This course will guide students through the key responsibilities of grants management including relationship-building with grantmakers, grant reporting, and project management post-award, as well as ethical practices. Students will learn how to develop a grants management plan that ensures timely reporting, awareness, and project management of requirements, ensuring ethical practices within organizational teams. They will create a communication plan to build strong relationships with potential and current grantmakers. The course will culminate in an applied project that articulates team-building strategies to successfully steward grant awards in a grant-compliant organizational culture. Students will present their projects in group presentations.
