All right, all you Singers and Instrumentalists, it's time to learn to Sight Sing (or get better at it)! This class is designed for the beginner who knows little to nothing about reading music up to the intermediate reader who knows the basics, but wants to gain more confidence in his/her sight singing ability.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- How to read a melody or harmony line at first glance
- How to read treble and bass clef
- How to count and read rhythmic notation (this is SO important and often overlooked when reading music)
- What major and minor keys are, how to identify the key of the music, why this is critical for sight singing
- How to identify intervals visually and aurally
- Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, how to enjoy sight singing!
