This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of human development through the life span. It encompasses many of the topics of interest in psychology—both normal and abnormal behavior—within the biological, psychological and social growth of an individual. Human developmental similarities, as well as differences due to various individual experiences are examined. The impact of social, cultural and economic forces on one’s developmental trajectory are considered throughout.

Students can expect one in-person meeting on campus and one meeting online, via Zoom,  each week, with additional asynchronous class time. Attendance at both the in-person and the online class meetings is expected.
