In this online course, we will explore the strategic creation of compelling marketing content. Students will learn to craft persuasive messages and produce visual media that align with brand identity and audience needs. Through hands-on projects and case studies, the course will emphasize storytelling, design principles, and digital tools used in successful marketing campaigns.
Students will engage in research processes for understanding and defining their audiences. We will use cases studies and our own research to shape discussions about ethics and authenticity in marketing, as well as the shifting cultural landscape that informs marketing trends and best practices. This course will be useful and accessible to students who may be interested in developing marketing content for their own ideas or projects, who are already working in marketing roles or internships, or who have never taken a business-related class before. Each student will have the opportunity to apply creativity to original projects, real or imagined.
