Taught By:
Learn to use digital media to present academic and creative work. We'll learn the basics of audio, video, and graphics production using freely available tools. We'll learn how to use PowerPoint to incorporate media into informative and appealing presentations that can work on a variety of screens. We'll explore best practices and canonical "rules" of the media tools we use. Classes will be a mix of online evening sessions and in-person/hybrid Saturday morning sessions for hands-on learning and skill sharing. By the end of the course, students will have a new toolset for presenting scholarly work.
