Psychological toxicity in the workplace can threaten the wellbeing and performance of the workforce and adversely impact the organizational outcomes. This course introduces the core components of psychologically healthy workplaces, including positive leadership dynamics, psychological safety, employee resilience and team agility, and employee recognition, growth and development. Through readings, reflective writing, collaboration, research projects, case analysis, group work, and presentations to help students gain critical knowledge and skills to promote psychological health and wellbeing in organizations.
The course is delivered in a blended synchronous and asynchronous online format.
