TRIO Reading to Write: Foundational Skills in College Reading

This course offers TRIO students critical skills in reading and understanding a range of texts in order to translate those readings into meaningful writing. With an emphasis on individualized reading plans, we will learn how to apply reading strategies and other effective practices to demystify academic writing and help students navigate their readings for other classes and programs.

The class involves participation in a weekly in-person class, as well as 2-4 hours of work outside of class each week.
