I am an adjunct faculty member at The Evergreen State College, where I teach psychology and community-based leadership through interdisciplinary and liberatory frameworks. I bring experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Substance Use Disorder Professional, and longtime community educator. My research and praxis focus on trauma-informed care, disability justice, and abolitionist approaches to mental health and education. I’ve served as an adjunct faculty in the Masters in Counseling Psychology program at Saint Martin’s University, with the Evergreen Prison Education Project as well as on the Olympia campus.

Teaching Style
I teach from a foundation of collective responsibility, honoring the communities and ecosystems my students both come from and contribute to. My pedagogy emphasizes growth over performance, inviting students to reflect critically, track their inner reactions, and engage as both learners and practitioners of knowledge. My teaching encourages students to examine systems and to pursue the conditions that might get us all free.
