Lyndxe Zakopal, a fourth year Environmental Studies student focusing in Biogeochemistry.

As a transfer student, they shared that they chose Evergreen because of "amazing interaction with staff when looking to transfer, and the fact that Evergreen allows the freedom to 'dig deep' and focus on learning the material, not just passing exams to 'get to the next step'."

Lyndxe shared that they love the labs here and how much equipment they have access to. They plan to apply to graduate school to pursue research after finishing their bachelors degree.
