What You'll Learn

This certificate program will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage finances, ensure quality healthcare delivery, and assess outcomes within public sector and non-profit healthcare organizations. You will learn about financial management, quality management, risk assessment and evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on practical application in diverse healthcare settings.

You will:

  • Explore financial management, managerial accounting and reimbursement processes for public sector and non-profit healthcare organizations
  • Learn strategies for budget creation, financial decision-making and contract management
  • Gain expertise in quality management, including healthcare outcome assessment and regulatory compliance
  • Learn advanced measurement and evaluation methods, including evidence-based practices and healthcare certification adaptation for specific clinic and agency needs

Students who do not have substantial health administration experience are encouraged to complete the Health Administration: Policy and Organization Certificate before beginning coursework in this certificate.
