This course is an intermediate study of the principles and techniques in painting. Emphasis will be on expanded approach to painting what you see through close observation, along with abstraction and building a body of work.
This class will cover a wide range of technical, observational and pictorial painting issues, with an emphasis on the history of painting. Previous formal training in painting is is recommended.
