Aiden Gumaer calls Ukiah, CA home and is a second year student interested in political science, food and agriculture, and philosophy.
Aiden received a Gilman Scholarship to study abroad and is currently studying in Denmark at Roskilde University. 50% of Evergreen students applying to the Gilman Scholarship receive an award to study abroad and Aiden took this opportunity to learn more about Danish government relations. While abroad, Aiden hopes to gain insight into the Danish perspective and bring what he learns back to his studies at Evergreen.
"I will learn how the Danes relate to their government, why they have that relationship, and how different their relationship and its origins are to what we experience in America.
